  • How can more than 2 people stay in the medium apartments?

In the living area there is a box spring sofa bed that can be folded out and made into. At night you can separate the living room from the kitchen and the dining room behind it with a sliding door. During the day you can fold the whole thing back up again with little effort.

  • Can the living area or sleeping area be darkened if there are more than 2 people?

In the living and dining rooms, the curtains are translucent, meaning they let in some light to create a cozy ambience, but protect you from outside views. If you just want to take a quick look at the saunas, please enter “2” in advance (with a tick). If you accidentally turn on a sauna, that's no problem - it switches itself off after 1 hour anyway.

  • Rain shower water pressure

Our rain showers are set to eco water pressure so as not to use a lot of water unnecessarily in the interests of a sustainable orientation of the district. However, the pressure is high enough so that it doesn't detract from the showering experience.

  • Can you grill in the neighborhood?

We don't have a barbecue area, for various reasons. Especially because the changing wind can unfortunately cause the smoke to drift towards the apartments... if you have your own grill, you can, if the weather is good, at the "Thing" (our small "market square" with seating directly between the saunas and the outdoor playground). Of course, mutual consideration is ALWAYS the top priority. An electric grill on the roof terrace is always possible.

  • Is there free WiFi?

Our fiber optic-based and super-fast WiFi is free throughout the district. Below the TV screens you will find a wooden board with a QR code, which you simply have to scan once using the camera function on your smartphone and you will be automatically connected. You use the internet at your own risk; any liability in connection with internet use is excluded.

  • WiFi & music in the games room?

Each apartment has its own smart TV. There are three different ways to watch TV and two different ways to listen to music.

Linear TV: On the home page of the TV by selecting the TV or Program button.

Streaming & Music via ChromeCast: Every TV has its own ChromeCast. In order to connect your own device (phone, iPad, computer, etc.), your device must be in the apartment's WiFi (WiFi number is the same as the apartment). All of your own content can then be mirrored directly onto the television by clicking on the ChromeCast symbol in the respective app (Netflix, Prime, Spotify, YouTube, etc.).

Or you can click on the three dots (“More”) on the right in the “Google Chrome” browser and select “Stream” in the first step and the desired source in the second. This can also be done e.g. B. your own screen or part of your own screen can be shared on the TV.

In-TV apps: Here the public channels and some other applications can be watched directly via the apps on the TV.

Music via Bluetooth: Your own device can be linked directly to the television via Bluetooth (TV name with the respective apartment number).

  • What do I need to know about disposal and waste separation?

The waste is separated into paper, packaging with the green dot, organic waste and residual waste. Appropriately labeled containers are available on the property between Huus Walden and the street “Am Buchholz”. Please pay attention to the different color code for the bin lids in the Plön district compared to other places: paper = green, recyclables/plastic packaging = yellow, organic waste = brown, residual waste = black. We also have a glass bin for daily needs, but would like to ask you to dispose of larger quantities of bottles and used glass directly in the waste glass containers in town (e.g. in the large parking lot at Edeka ALPEN: the containers can be driven directly to the car become).

More information about this in the neighborhood code.

  • How does the coffee machine work?

How to make Moccamaster filter coffee:

    1. Fill the water container with the desired amount of cold water and replace the lid.

    2. Place a filter in the filter holder (rinse optionally) and add the desired amount of coffee powder: a level Moccamaster measuring spoon for approx. two cups or a heaped teaspoon per cup is the standard for medium-strength coffee. DO NOT press down the coffee powder or tap the filter holder, otherwise the water will not penetrate through and the machine will overflow.

    3. Then place the filter holder with the coffee powder on the filter holder. Make sure that the filter holder is horizontal and clicks into place, otherwise no water can flow through and the machine will overflow.

    4. Then place the glass jug (with lid) on the warming plate.

    5. Press the on switch and off you go - after a few minutes the delicious filter coffee is ready!
